We Don’t Sell Your Contact Information

You may choose to submit personal information to NephCure via:

  • Email
  • Online forms
  • Sign-in sheets at events
  • Or by agreeing to share your contact information with us when signing up with one of our partner organizations.

All personal information provided to NephCure — e.g., name, phone number, email address, etc. — is for the use of NephCure only. We will never release our mailing list or the names of our member families to any outside organization or third party unless required to do so by law. Entry of this information is optional and at the discretion of the end-user.

You may opt out of having your personal information shared by contacting marketing@nephcure.org.

Donors: When a donor requests that a gift or fund be treated as anonymous, the donor’s wishes will be honored.

Statistical Logs Kept

NephCure uses reporting programs to collect data about visitor traffic to our site. We do not attempt to personally identify visitors. Instead we collect data to analyze in aggregate to determine trends and improve our sites. Here are some examples of the types of data we routinely collect:

  • Date, time & duration of visit

NephCure upholds a strong commitment to donor rights and privacy, as outlined in our Donor Bill of Rights and Donor Privacy Policy. Our donors can trust that their contributions are utilized effectively and with integrity, fostering a relationship built on mutual respect and accountability.

Donor Bill of Rights

Philanthropy is based on voluntary action for the common good. It is a tradition of giving and sharing that is primary to the quality of life. To assure that philanthropy merits the respect and trust of the general public, and that donors and prospective donors can have full confidence in the not-for-profit organizations and causes they are asked to support, we declare that all donors have these rights:

  1. To be informed of NephCure’s mission, of the way we intend to use donated resources, and of our capacity to use donations effectively for their intended purposes.
  2. To be informed of the identity of those serving on NephCure’s governing board, and to expect the board to exercise prudent judgment in its stewardship responsibilities.
  3. To have access to NephCure’s most recent financial statements.
  4. To be assured their gifts will be used for the purposes for which they were given.
  5. To receive appropriate acknowledgment and recognition.
  6. To be assured that information about their donations is handled with respect and with confidentiality to the extent provided by law.
  7. To expect that all relationships with individuals representing NephCure will be professional in nature.
  8. To be informed whether those seeking donations are volunteers, employees of NephCure or hired solicitors.
  9. To have the opportunity for their names to be deleted from mailing lists that an organization may intend to share. [NephCure does NOT share mailing lists with any outside organization.]
  10. To feel free to ask questions when making a donation and to receive prompt, truthful and forthright answers. Any questions about your donation should be addressed to info@nephcure.org.

Donor Privacy Policy

NephCure will not sell, share or trade our donors’ names or personal information with any other entity, nor send mailings to our donors on behalf of other organizations.

This policy applies to all information received by NephCure, both online and offline, as well as any electronic, written, or oral communications.

To the extent any donations are processed through a third-party service provider, our donors’ information will only be used for purposes necessary to process the donation
